Get Up and Move - October Week 2

What is everyone’s plan for exercise this week?

Last week I did Supernatural 4 days and I missed yesterday but did one this morning. The plan is to do Wed, Thur, and Friday as well. I am working on LSVY Big stretches and I also do my daily speech exercises. On the 24th I see a Orthopaedic doctor so hopefully I will get some positive news. I am looking to getting a used exercise bike to use inside just in case I am told to stay off the foot for a while. As for my back that will be a separate appointment. I just pray that I can keep moving in some way.

Way to go Dawn! I did a VR workout this morning. Also, I am on day two of no sugar. My plan is to avoid sugar until the week of Thanksgiving. Halloween is going to be especially difficult!

I have tried numerous times to give up sugar and failed. I have addiction to frozen blended coffee which is loaded with sugar. I have reduced my coffee now to 2 times a week so I am slowly trying. Good luck to you!

I want to do my Les Mills Body Combat VR but I don’t like doing it in the morning since I’m unmedicated/uncoordinated. Did get out for two 2.5 mile walks though. Hopefully the gym one day but schedule pretty packed. ~Drew

Thanks to you all I’m sweating and moving more than usual. I received my vr yesterday and installed supernatural first thing. I did a 15 flow and fell in love with the body workout. Today I have done three flow classes as well as a 30 min row.

Hey Drew, I really enjoy VR for working out. I haven’t tried that game yet. That’s great that you got out for 5 miles worth of walks! Keep it up!

That’s awesome that you picked up a VR headset! Supernatural is a lot of fun. If you like flow then you’d probably like Beat saber. It’s not a Workout app but it’s a fun game.
