Does anyone experience lightheadedness or dizziness? It’s pretty frequent and pervasive. Meds don’t really help.
Hi Brian, welcome to the forum! I have not experienced those symptoms, but I just wanted to say hello and thanks for joining us!
Is this before meds? On time? Wearing off? Time of day or always? Well hydrated and eating? Orthostatic hypotension (sudden drop in blood pressure when you get up)? First call should be to your doc.
My biggest complaint for the past five years. The doctors kept increasing my medication and that made it worse. Dizzy spells and lightheaded spells have all stopped since I stopped taking c/l. I was also experiencing brain fog. All started with the addition of c/l to my system.
Thx for the responses guys! The dizziness is pretty constant not relay to BP or standing. Parkybear, glad to hear I’m not the only one who’s experienced this. My doc is certain it’s not the meds but I’m suspicious.
I know now for a fact that the c/l are causing me to be constantly lightheaded. As I have been trying to figure out a good medication program. I’m back on rytary as of four weeks ago and since then I have all the negative side effects again. While I was off the c/l the symptoms were not present but others were. The c/l is the lesser of two evils. Hopefully the DBS going to be in my future. My body doesn’t do well with the regular practice.
Best of luck to you. It took five years for my doctors to actually start listening to me. I finally had enough of the side effects and took myself off of everything. I had to start the c/l to help me ease the struggle but hopefully not for much longer.
Sorry one more thing.
You know your body and the effects of the medication. The doctors these days just seem to follow the rules of the masses and don’t seem to listen and care until they are forced to. Try tapering off your c/l and see how your body responds. Good luck and I wish you the best in your journey.
Thank you so much for ur reply! These meds r so frustrating.
