Do you watch what you eat?

I know as a person with Parkinson’s I am supposed to eat healthy. For the most part I do except for the junk food that I enjoy. I’ve actually put on a few pounds over the last couple of months that I need to lose. Does anyone here follow a strict diet? Have you found a diet that has improved your symptoms?

Hello mike
I eat the Mediterranean Style diet. Eating clean makes me Mentally and physically feel great. It’s a good way to keep your weight down and easy to maintain. I eat no meat products at All but I do eat fish.
Give it a try you may like it🤔

I know that I should, but I don’t. As a female I always felt I had to control my weight or people wouldn’t like me. I was a property manager for years who had to compete with younger people for jobs and in Missouri that meant staying thin. After I got out of that work I put on the weight slowly. I do wish I could lose weight but I also struggled with an eating disorder because of it so as much as I want to eat better now, I am scared that my old habits will resurface if I do.

Don’t diet just change your eating habits and start slowly, Don’t make it a job, don’t deprive yourself. Try to eat clean one meal at a time. Good luck stay positive😎

My neurologist also, recommended the Mediterranean diet. I try to eat that as best as I can. My queen diet anyways pretty much I don’t eat much fast food
