Hi, any suggestions for my dads dystopia of his hands when he wakes up? The doc suggested copper gloves but that didn’t help. Thanks!

Hi Lily, welcome to the forum! I actually get pretty bad dystonia in my right hand. The biggest relief for me has been my medication. Other than that, sometimes my wife will massage my hand for me and that helps.

Thanks, his only meds right now is the levodopa, they just upped his dosage so maybe that’ll help, and I’ll tell my mom bout the massages! I really appreciate your page! I showed my dad several of your videos and it really helped him to know he isn’t alone, he won’t use tiktok (worried bout spies)(not tech savvy) but he really enjoyed your one about a bank and going into “debt.”
I’m so glad that my videos are helping! That makes me happy. 
Hopefully the increased dosage and massages give him some relief!

im having a very off day taking meds but cramping left hand and Dyskinesia the amandine is not woking today
I seem to be struggling badly with my hands. Very painful between the thumb and index finger. Sometimes dystonia and dystonic tremors often a feeling that’s almost like inflammation. Gets better when I’m on. Be interested to know if others experience this sort of pain and if they think this is dystonia

I have Dystonia in my right hand it was one of my first symptoms 8 years ago. It still happens now but it does not last long. It is painful I hope you find some answers.
