We’re already in the third week of our “Get Up and Move” challenge for September!
Exercise plays a crucial role in managing Parkinson’s disease, and your commitment to staying active is truly inspiring. This week, let’s keep the momentum going. Share your exercise routines, achievements, or any tips you have for staying motivated. By posting your updates, you’re not only holding yourself accountable but also motivating others on this incredible journey.
Remember, it’s not about how intense your workouts are; it’s about moving and doing what feels right for you. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a yoga session, or even some chair exercises, every bit counts.
Let’s support each other, celebrate our successes, and keep making progress together. Share your experiences, and let’s inspire everyone to stay active and maintain a positive outlook.
So, what’s your exercise plan for this week? Share it with the community and let’s conquer Week Three of our challenge!
I’ve been doing as much training as possible. Everyday is different as we all know. I can honestly say that we all need to keep on keeping on. I was stagnant for the past three years due to medical issues other then Parkinson’s. I can honestly tell you if you don’t use it you will lose it. I became so stiff and ridged my right side moved 1/4the speed of my left. Moving is the best way to get back into the game. I’m so happy to be back on the movement train.
We can all do it. Have fun and stay active. Motion is the lotion of life.
I’ve been exercising since I’m 18. I’m 69 years old, I’m not a body builder. I just do a lot of exercise. I go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week. Yes, I’m a gym rat. I really believe that exercising for years had slowed down me from knowing I had parkinson’s. I never noticed any symptoms up until about 2 years ago. Okay, getting back to week 3 I did Some virtual reality boxing this week. I tried to cast it and make a video but had no luck.
