Does anyone have any negative reactions to carbinopa and levidopa?
I get nauseous and very sleepy. I am to take 3 a day, but can’t keep it down. Has anyone had that reaction and have you found a way to keep from getting sick?
I had some nausea and sleepiness in the beginning. I found peppermint Altoids (full size, not small sugar free) chasers worked for the nausea. It got better after about 3 weeks. The tiredness may be that you just need an dosage adjustment. I would definitely check with your doctor.
I’ve had a horrible experience with my Sinemet. Makes me dizzy and lightheaded. Used to get nauseous in the beginning which I took zofran for. It all comes down to do you want to deal with symptoms or side effects from medication. It’s definitely a frustrating balance.
Thank you! I am going out to get some now. I will try anything.
Yes, but I think the tremors are still better than feeling sick all of the time. Thank you for your input!
Hi, This is Rod. I’m wondering if anybody has trouble sleeping? Also, trying to articulate what they’re thinking when talking to someone? The words just aren’t available. I guess I’m pretty lucky with the meds. Sometimes, they give me heartburn, but that’s easy to deal with
