Has anyone had or looked into having stem cell therapy to treat their PD?
I’d be really interested in hearing about this too. It sounds promising.
Do you mean Ed Begley Jr.? It be interesting to know more? I think Jack Osborn has used it to treat MS.

There is currently NO treatment for PD via stem cell therapy. It’s in testing - no idea when it will be available to the public. The procedure for stem cell treatment is quite complex - cells are taken from the skin and then altered to become stem cells that will turn into dopamine-producing neurons (a feat of science in itself!), then the cells are injected into the substantia nigra area of the brain. Hopefully they take, and don’t wander off to another part of the brain, or just die, give it another 20 years.
And that Ed Begley video? That’s been circulng the internet for at least 10 years now. Notice the facial masking and stiffness, the monotone voice. Doesn’t make me a believer.
